We are the products of our children.
The child explores in his or her way. that is the way the child sees it.
We, yes we express anger, not only in our voices but in our animation.
The mother, because she is expected to be gentle by nature stands where she is and shouts at the child. “GET OVER HERE” May be she should say “COME BACK HERE” and in her gentle and assertive voice. Instead she is loud and angry and animated.
Hey , notice , she seldom moves to the place where the child has strayed. May be she is in the store and too attached to the garment she is contemplating to purchase. The shopping was more important than the child and that is why the child went and explored another part of the store.
The child should have been supervised.
The fathers are seldom around to supervise the children. May be, just may be, that is part of the mother’s frustration. She takes it out on the child.
If he is around and because he really does not want to be, he would prefer to be watching the violence on the new Flat screen TV. “THE BALL GAME”.
To him that is more important than his child. Or maybe in season to sit at home and watch a close up of his favorite “batter”, “hitter”, or who ever, spitting goggles of some nasty stuff onto the very field where he and others play. How nasty.
If only the father were there when the child was out of line, he would most likely physically grab the child, by one arm, two slaps on his or her padded bottom. A happy family together again.
But the anger is there. She spent too much money and still wants some thing to eat. The child is still restless. No one thought that the child needs attention either for the bathroom or simple affection. So one of them, not the child, while driving on the way home, who cares who is wrong. We have a vehicular accident. The anger spills over. The poor old lady who may not have caused the accident is in trouble . After all she is old and should not have been driving on our roads.
Anger, Anger, Anger.
We hear some Politicians say “I AM ANGRY” And their expression of anger is strong and animated. Hands in people’s faces , occasional spit emanating from their mouths. their faces contorted.
The people did not know that they themselves were angry, or that things for them were worse than any other place on earth. Not until a Politician told them.
They impress the crowds. They do nothing to solve the problems which they created in the first place and they have no real solutions. .
They incite violence. They waste, squander, they make rash and untenable decisions which result in destruction and division.They devide people and families.Yes, some Politicians promise to destroy every thing which has been established instead of repairing and mending where necessary, and invoking progress.
People, not being children but looking for guidance are shuffled around by some Politicians who seek power by telling untruths, by making unreal promises, by treating the people as if they were children. “GET OVER HERE”
Some politicians through their words and actions are potential “DICTATORS”
Hopefully our country will not tolerate or have to suffer that change.
We hope, that as has been proved, careful negotiation, planning and guidance is the answer once again.
